Successful use of Homeopathy for Hot Flushes

Research undertaken in France in at 35 centres (gynecologists in private practice) amongst 101 menopausal women – experiencing at least 5 hot flushes a day – has shown that a ‘complex’ homeopathic remedy has had significant success. The study was undertaken by researchers from the Department of Gynaecology, at the Hospital Foch, in Suresnes, France.

Taking the main outcome measure as the hot ‘flash’ score (HFS) and also using the quality of life (QoL) [measured using the Hot Flash Related Daily Interference Scale (HFRDIS)], and severity of symptoms scores (measured using the Menopause Rating Scale).

The test subjects were given a homeopathic remedy made by Boiron, called “BRN-01”.

It is a registered homeopathic medicine and contains;

Actaea racemosa (4 centesimal dilutions [4CH]),

Arnica montana (4CH),

Glonoinum (4CH),

Lachesis mutus (5CH), and

Sanguinaria canadensis (4CH),

The researchers concluded that the BRN-01 seemed to have a significant effect on thehot ‘flash’ score (HFS), compared with placebo and that this homeopathic remedy may be considered a new therapeutic option, without unwanted side-effects, to treat menopausal women who are experiencing hot flushes – especially those who do not want to use hormone replacement therapy.

Homeopathy for Whooping Cough

In an online article Dr Larry Malerba, D.O., DHt, – “a physician, educator, author and Clinical Assistant Professor at New York Medical College” has reviewed the medical options open to physicians in the US – when it comes to treating the rising numbers of pertussis (Whooping Cough) in the US.

He believes that there aren’t many effective options open to those using a conventional medical approach and exposes the fallacy that this rise in cases is due to the increasing numbers of unvaccinated children – when the statistics actually show that  the large majority of cases are contracted by those who have already been vaccinated.

He argues against the latest medical advice being promulgated that children should be vaccinated again (to boost immunity to pertussis) – and that pregnant women, teens and adults should get vaccinated – when in his own clinical experience he has found that homeopathy is a viable option for pertussis.

He examines not just his own experiences with using homeopathic remedies to treat Whooping Cough, but also notes that “There are thousands of homeopathic practitioners across the globe who can testify to similar results.“

He goes on to say that, “to dismiss a treatment for an illness that has no other effective therapy — primarily because of a lack of research studies published in conventional medical journals that “prove” its effectiveness — demonstrates an anti-scientific attitude that, in actuality, amounts to a form of inflexible and uninformed prejudice”.

He does explain that patients with Whooping Cough must go to a properly qualified homeopath – as different remedies may be required for different patients. He does go on to discuss the effectiveness of six different homeopathic remedies for this condition (all of which are FDA regulated in the US):

Homeopathy and Nerve Regeneration

Researchers from the Department of Clinical Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Urmia University, in Iran, the Department of Veterinary Pathology, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, Canada and the R&D Division, Azar Masoon Vaccine, Biological and Pharmaceuticals Distribution Company, Urmia, Iran have undertaken research (RCT) that proves that the homeopathic remedy, Hypericum improves the functional recovery of peripheral nerve regeneration.

The research, published in the journal ‘Homeopathy’ was undertaken on rats and showed that, in the group who were treated with Hypericum, there was a faster and better recovery of regenerated axons and gastrocnemius muscle mass was significantly greater.

Homeopathy Reverses Cancer

Doctors call it “nonsense on stilts”, professors of medicine have been bullying government and health authorities to stop offering it on the UK’s National Health Service (NHS)—and yet studies paid for by the US government are showing that homeopathy could be our best defence against cancer. Several homeopathic remedies are as effective as powerful chemotherapy, accord-ing to clinical trials, and thou-sands of cancer cases are being reversed by homeopathy alone.

The extraordinary success of homeopathy remedies—which are diluted hundreds of times—against the most dreaded of diseases is being demonstrated every day at several homeopathic clinics in Kolkata (Calcutta) in India.

In one review of the work at the Prasanta Banerji Homeopathic Research Foundation, 21,888 patients with malignant tumours were treated only with homeopathy—they had neither chemotherapy nor radiotherapy—between 1990 and 2005. Clinical reports reveal that the tumours completely regressed in 19 per cent of cases.
