Since 2012, scientists have been aware that chemotherapy can inadvertently encourage cancer growth (see report here) and a recent article in the What Doctors Don’t Tell You magazine highlighted a report in the Lancet 2014 in which thought-leaders from across cancer research and treatment concluded that: ” Despite the introduction of hundreds of new anti-cancer drugs, including advanced therapies (so-called magic bullets) aimed at particular weapons in the enemy’s armamentarium, the consensus was that, for most forms of cancer, enduring disease-free responses were rare, and cures, even rarer.” The article in WDDTY suggested that the best results with cancer treatments feature approaches that boost, rather than destroying, the natural immunity of the body. It includes homeopathy as a ‘promising alternative’ particularly the Banerji approach which uses combinations of remedies. A recent audit found that regressions ranged from 22 to 32%…for lung, brain and oesophageal cancer’ in homeopathic hospitals in India (WDDTY March 2015).
